DigiGuard2™ Serves Two Distinct Functions
- protecting property
- providing more appeal for prospects through marketing
Industry statistics consistently show that individual unit door alarms rank near the top of the list of amenities that self storage customers demand.
Now, Digitech has set a new standard for wireless alarm protection. Continual improvement and innovation has resulted in the newest generation of wireless door alarms, the DigiGuard˛™ system.
Features & Benefits
- Digitech's proprietary system, designed specifically for the self-storage environment. It does not use off-the-shelf components or items that were made primarily for the residential market to be used indoors only.
- Internally powered transmitters with a Lithium battery rated at greater than ten years
- Local battery back-up at the repeater
- Extended range transmitters, requiring few repeaters
- Repeaters operate on low voltage, 12VDC, from a local transformer or multi-channel power supply
- Serialized transmitters for easy identification and signal supervision
- A wide range of serial numbers prevents duplication
- Wide Gap positioning to guard against false alarms from wind and loose doors
- A regular heartbeat from the transmitter signals all is OK to the controller
- Industry-exclusive alarm indications include more than just attempted unauthorized opening.
- Magnet tamper, cover tamper, shock sensor report, and low battery alert.
- Installation mode allows for easy testing
- Expandable system allows for easy integration with earlier versions of Digitech's door alarm wireless and hard-wired systems.
Powerful transmitters at each door pump out signals at the maximum strength allowed by the FCC. Picked up by repeaters, these signals are efficiently carried to the system receiver. Engineered to use dual frequencies, one for the transmitter and another for the repeater re-transmission, DigiGuard˛™ integrates proven existing technology for a better solution.
As an option to the practical success of the original DigiGuard™, the newer version offers design flexibility in planning that allows architects, site engineers, and owners more leeway in system and site configuration.
